Mr. Rush was kind enough to stop in recently and we put down a little something for y'all... Mr. Rush is "la la la'ing and doing some serious guitar playing and harp playing... Lonesome Road
In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before Hugh Hamilton reaches commercial success as a singer, songwriter and musician. Hugh provided me one of the greatest compliments recently by asking if I would cover one of his original compositions, "Lonesome Road," written in 2004. I cannot understand why it took so long to pull this great song off the shelf, but I am happy that when it did happen, Hugh was kind and gracious enough to ask this old bluesman to record it. If you haven't had a chance to listen to other works of this gentle man and great musician, make it a point to do so. I am also extremely pleased to call Hugh Hamilton my friend.
