Ray Boozer was born the son of a coal miner and a Struts waitress in the back of a 1954 Ford Country Wagon in Jacksonville, Alabama. The middle child of 13, Ray used music as a means of separating himself from his siblings, two of whom were also named Ray. He spent hours in the shed with his drumkit, guitar, bass, and microphone he bought with the money he got from his paper route and collecting soda bottles. Armed with his love of pastoral landscapes, old rusty things, and Rush, Ray set out to share his songs with the rest of Calhoun County, and perhaps the rest of the world.

This is about a girl, or should I say woman, I used to work with. She was pretty awesome, to the point that I wrote a song about her. I had to fill in some gaps in the story creatively just because I don't know everything about her situation, so some details in the song are not accurate, and some of them are probably pretty far off. Space Chiggers
Formerly known as "The Excessively Happy Song" back when I thought all songs had to be about something, this song was conceived in my senior year of high school with fellow founding member, bassist Nick Vance. The song turned out so well that inspired the conception of this very band, probably about five years before any of us were really ready to handle the responsibility.
This song has become what I'm best known for, and with good reason. It's pretty damn good.
