"If a man can not keep pace with his companion, perhaps it is because he hears the beat of another drummer. Let him step to the music in which he sings, however measured or far away." -Henry David Thoreau-
Originating out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Hannah Wolff Band is off to a fast start in gaining popularity on the road to success. The band has been busy securing a local and national following, promoting a sophomore album and constantly searching for unique sounds to separate them from the masses.
Front-woman Hannah Wolff, with her ever-evolving energy and determination, remains firmly on an ambitious journey of capturing the world with her music. She has written, funded and co-produced two full-length studio albums; the first "Striving Toward Harmony" and the newly released "One Afternoon," featuring Allan Vest of the Starlight Mints (courtesy of Barsuk Records). Both albums were engineered and produced by Trent Bell of Bell Labs in Norman, Oklahoma. Bell (former guitar player for the Chainsaw Kittens) has worked with artists such as the Starlight Mints, the Flaming Lips, Toby Keith, Steve Burns, Christina Ricci and many more; Bell's work has also been Grammy-nominated.
The Hannah Wolff Band's following continues to grow. The band has been filling local and national venues (including The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA; the Icehouse in Las Vegas NV; etc.) and plans to continue touring to promote their new album. In addition, Wolff's music has been placed in rotation on various radio and online music stations and has earned the band invitations to various music festivals across the country.
Combined with poetic and sensual lyrics, wispy, powerful vocals and unusually haunting music, the live presence of the band has an extremely intimate, yet energetic, appeal. Each musician brings the music to life right before the audience; the output is intense and truly original indie rock. This band has a rare ability to capture the attention of listeners, as the songs are dynamically conveyed by rockin' and then mesmerizing audiences into submission.
Wolff's profound passion for composing and performing truly incomparable music, combined with the band's determination and talent, will ensure a successful, lifelong career as devoted, reputable artists. She is pleased to announce that she has just signed this incredible new album to DEAD Famous Records and the album is due for release with C4 Records and Koch Canada in February 2008. The US release will follow with NIghtmare Records and nationally distribution with Koch Internhational in March 2008 at this stage. Plans are underway to see her tour the US and the UK extensively to support the releases.

Galaxy - Hananh Wolff
A really cool and well structured uplifting tune led with a strong string melody and very hooky in nature. Strong identifiable lyrics with a universal message that all can relate to. Beautiful harmony work at play here and the vocal rounds in the chorus and the outro make it a strong radio contender.

Gemini - Hannah Wolff
A highly quirky and interesting little tune, although short in size its stature for what it represents is so strong and really is a glimpse of what to expect from this dynamic artist with so much emotion and passion. Just listen to the few words expressed in this little ditty.
