Lawrence Wise said...That groove is one of the most original funk-n-soul riffs I've heard in years. It's trademark. Those lyrics are sharp, and when the chorus comes around, I LOVE the way the vocalist TWISTS (P***ce couldn't say the phrase "I'm A Star" as funky as THIS!). Another thing that I really love was compacting ALL that Power and complex arrangements in 3 minutes-and-some-pocket change. Now, that's GENIUS!

This song is out there in a good way. The track is called "Mr. Spaceman". I think that this is a religious reference to GOD. The vocalist asks many questions to "Mr. Spaceman" in this song. Like can you get us out of here? I am thinking here means lift us off of planet earth? Any way the lyrics are a breath of fresh air!
